At this time, the water flows directly from the inlet into the inside of the filter cylinder, and is filtered through the sieve and discharged from the outlet. When the backwashing operation state, the manual butterfly valve is closed, that is, the plane of the valve plate is perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder, and the drain valve is opened.

 

At this time, the water flow enters the front end of the filter cylinder from the inlet. Because the butterfly valve is closed, the water flow is blocked by the valve plate, and can only enter the outside of the filter cartridge from the front mesh, most of which flows out from the outlet, and the water is discharged from the rear of the filter cartridge because the sewage outlet is opened.
